- The main navigation consists of up to 5 levels in total, the first level is mandatory.
- First and second level are displayed horizontally on large and medium viewports.聽
- Deeper levels of main navigation are displayed as left-hand navigation on large and medium viewports.
- The main navigation transforms in small and extra small viewports to touch-friendly accordion menus containing all levels.
- On small and extra small viewports a sticky navigation appears when the visitor scrolls upwards and back to the top.

- Keep the link labels in the main navigation short and concise, they can differ from the corresponding page headlines.
- Keep the number of entries low.

- Main navigation and supporting navigation share the available width in medium and large viewports鈥搕he more space the supporting navigation uses, the less space will be available for the main navigation and the 鈥榤ore鈥 menu will appear earlier.
- While it is possible to use navigation titles to cluster left-hand navigation in medium and large view port, this function should be used with care, as some clustering is not displayed in small and extra small view port.
