How it works

The Podcast component renders multiple audio files from AEM DAM, grouped by categories, with direct embedded playback.

Display date can be defined.

Users can subscribe via: Standard RSS, iTunes RSS, and additional podcast player links (with icons).

Episodes & Playback

  • Episode descriptions are limited to 3 lines; Show more/less reveals full text.
  • Only one episode can play at a time; starting another resets the previous one.
  • Each episode includes: play, forward, rewind, volume/mute, transcript, download.
  • Transcript is shown on-screen (no download).
  • Active playback highlights the episode via background colour change.
  • Max 5 episodes expanded by default; more appear via Show more.
