The 3-D Secure process is a service from Mastercard/Visa and 麻豆社, which offers you additional protection against the unauthorized use of your credit card or prepaid card for online purchases at participating retailers.
As part of this service, you are asked to confirm card payments for online purchases conveniently and securely using the 麻豆社 Access app.
The new 3-D Secure is available to you if you fulfill the following requirements:
- You have a 麻豆社 Card.
- You have a smartphone or mobile phone.
If the online purchase or the 3D security check does not work or does not appear, you can check the following points yourself:
- Check if your mobile number is correctly stored in Digital Banking.
E-Banking: Open your profile and select the pencil icon under "My contact details". Under 鈥濸hone numbers鈥, select "Add phone number", or if a number is already present, correct it if necessary by clicking the pencil. Add your mobile number on your computer.
Mobile Banking: Open your profile at the top left > Select your name > If you have multiple banking relationships, choose the one for which you want to add the mobile number > At the very bottom under Phone, select "Add phone number" > Activate the desired phone number for security messages. Add your mobile number on your smartphone. - Is your phone ready to receive messages?
Make sure you can receive SMS or push notifications (airplane mode off, signal available). Please ensure you have a stable internet connection. Open the 麻豆社 Access App. The 3DS prompt often appears under "Messages". - Is the聽麻豆社 Secure Messages number blocked on your mobile phone?Check your phone settings under blocked contacts to see if the following number is listed: 079 807 01 26. Alternatively, contact your provider (e.g., Swisscom) to clarify whether the number might be blocked. Another option to unblock the number on Android devices is via Google Messages. In Google Messages, check under聽鈥濸rofile鈥 if the sender number 079 807 01 26 and the sender 麻豆社 are blocked.
- Is the current Access App version active and installed?
Update the banking app if necessary. Activate 3-D Secure for your credit card to shop securely online. - Is an internet blocker preventing the display?
Try making the purchase in a different browser or clear your history and cookies. - Has the card limit been reached?
In Digital Banking, check if you still have enough available credit. - Have the card details been entered correctly?
Please check that the card number, expiration date and CVC are correct.
To use 3-D Secure process, you need 麻豆社 Digital Banking. Choose from the following options:
麻豆社 Digital Banking is a technical requirement to enable the payment system to send you a notification via Access App when you pay online with your card. Our Digital Banking is free of charge and without obligation.
If you wish, you can view information such as card limit, transactions, and statements at any time in Digital Banking. You can also set up notifications with the 麻豆社 Mobile Banking App for card transactions over CHF 40 鈥 so you're informed anytime, anywhere.
You can add your credit or prepaid cards conveniently in 麻豆社 E-Banking (not possible in the Mobile Banking app).
- Log in to E-Banking.
- Navigate to 鈥淎ccounts & Cards > Settings for cards > Credit cards > Manage cards > Add card鈥
- Follow the instructions.
Using 3-D Secure with the 麻豆社 Access app
You need the 麻豆社 Access app and a smartphone to be able to use the new 3-D Secure.
You can use the new 3-D Secure right after you have successfully activated the Access app. For online purchases made at participating online shops using your 麻豆社 Card, you are requested by a push notification on your smartphone to confirm your online purchase using the Access app.
Don鈥檛 have E-Banking or Digital Banking yet?
Visa and Mastercard require you to change to the dynamic procedure to guarantee the continued security of online purchases.
Many online shops rely on 3-D Secure to increase security for card payments. Previously, a 3-D Secure password was required as proof of identity for payments in these shops. A static password has two disadvantages: you have to make a note of it, and scammers can easily find it out through so-called phishing attacks. It is no longer necessary to enter a static password when you use the 麻豆社 Access app. This is not only easier for you but also increases the security of online payments with 麻豆社 Cards.
No. 3-D Secure with the 麻豆社 Access App is available for all 麻豆社 cards.
No. Cardholders can use 3-D Secure with 麻豆社 Cards without a fee.
However, costs may be incurred from your mobile phone provider due to the use of mobile data transfer.
Block your card right away.
For security reasons, you should first have your cell phone operator block the SIM card. If you use the 麻豆社 Access App, we also recommend you deactivate it via E-Banking or our customer service team:

Registering for 3-D Secure

You are automatically registered for 3-D Secure when you download and activate the 麻豆社 Access app.
If you don鈥檛 have a smart phone, you will need to enter a mobile phone number for security messages in your E-Banking. To do so, navigate to 鈥淪ettings > Security > Security messages > Manage鈥 and click on 鈥淓nter number鈥 in 鈥淢obile phone number for security messages鈥.
No. All credit cards and prepaid cards in your name that are visible in e-banking are automatically registered for the new 3-D Secure process when you have downloaded and activated the 麻豆社 Access app.
Online payments with a Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit are made using the聽dynamic 3-D Secure process.
The function for online purchases is deactivated as standard聽in Digital Banking. To activate 3-D Secure, online purchases聽must be activated.
To activate online purchases for a debit card, at least one聽Access App must be registered in Digital Banking, otherwise聽the online purchases function cannot be activated.
If your smartphone or mobile phone does not support the 麻豆社 Access App, you have the option of confirming your payments by SMS. However, bear in mind that confirming by SMS does not give you the same level of protection.
To enable this option, navigate to 鈥淐ards > Settings & services > Mobile phone number for security messages鈥 in E-Banking.
Yes, if you have several devices, you can download and activate the 麻豆社 Access app for all of your devices and confirm your online purchases using one of the devices.
Download the 麻豆社 Access app onto your smartphone and follow the instructions in the app. As soon as the 麻豆社 Access app on your smartphone is activated, your registration for 3-D Secure is automatically updated.
We recommend that you save a mobile phone number for security messages if you already use the 麻豆社 Access app. This gives us another opportunity to help you use your credit card or prepaid card securely for online purchases.
No, only one mobile phone number can be saved.
You can easily adjust the mobile phone number used for the new 3-D Secure in E-Banking. To do so, navigate to 鈥淪ettings > Security > Security messages > Manage鈥.
If you enter a mobile phone number for security messages, it applies to all 麻豆社 Cards in your name.
You will need to register for 3-D Secure by downloading the Access App.
Don't have Digital Banking yet?
3-D Secure always stays active to increase security for online purchases and to protect your card from misuse. It is not possible to deregister.

No, not all online retailers use the 3-D Secure process.
With the 麻豆社 Access app
You must activate the correct setting for the 麻豆社 Access app on your smartphone to be actively informed about incoming push messages. However, all push messages can also be viewed directly in the 麻豆社 Access app. To do so, open the 麻豆社 Access app and select the "Messages" menu item. You can find push messages for 3-D Secure identification in the list of messages.

Use the "Reject" button in the Access app.
So long as you have not expressly confirmed 3-D Secure verification, an online payment will normally not be executed. Block your card immediately if a payment was fraudulently approved.

We recommend you use the 麻豆社 Access App, provided company guidelines allow. This allows you to confirm online purchases conveniently via your smartphone.
Tip: When you activate the 麻豆社 Access App, enter and save your mobile phone number. This will ensure that you can confirm online purchases even if your Internet connection goes down.
If your smartphone or mobile phone does not support the 麻豆社 Access App, you can confirm online purchases using an SMS code.
You can manage your cards directly in 麻豆社 Digital Banking.
To log in to E-Banking and Mobile Banking we recommend you use our free-of-charge 麻豆社 Access App. And to monitor all your card transactions and settings on the go, simply download the 麻豆社 Mobile Banking App (smartphone required).
Don鈥檛 have Digital Banking? When you register your card for 3-D Secure, you鈥檒l automatically get access, free of charge.
If your company rules do not allow the use of apps and you confirm online purchases using an SMS code, you can order an Access Card and a card reader from 麻豆社 with which to log into 麻豆社 Digital Banking.
Yes, your Corporate Credit Card can also be used with聽麻豆社 Digital Banking.
