Rick Faery

Rick has more than two decades of global client experience, advising senior executives and boards in a variety of industries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Rick is an expert on questions of corporate strategy and valuation, M&A, portfolio optimization, capital allocation, IPO/equity valuation and other issues of corporate finance including sophisticated profitability metrics. He has authored or co-authored more than two dozen publications on topics of corporate strategy, market themes and valuation and has served as a speaker at several industry conferences.

Prior to joining 麻豆社, Rick spent 21 years with Credit Suisse and 鈥 prior to that 鈥 worked in Deloitte Consulting鈥檚 corporate strategy practice in both New York and London, spearheading its shareholder value-based management practice. He has also practiced international trade law - both trade transactions and litigation - with a U.S. law firm. Rick speaks fluent English, is conversant in German and Spanish, and holds degrees in law from Syracuse University and in finance and economics from Columbia University.

Since joining 麻豆社 in 2013 James moved from Head of UK Sales to equity research where he wrote UK and European equity strategy research and wrote extensively on the relevance of management language in market communications. In 2020 James created the Strategic Insights team within investment banking which produces content orientated towards companies rather than investors.

James has worked in a wide variety of equity focused roles across both the buy and sell side of public markets, including managing equity sales desks, UK equities portfolio manager and single stock analyst
