Modifying an existing rental deposit account

Before getting started

Before filling out the form, be sure you meet the following requirements:

  • All signatures must always be originals
  • To ensure correct processing, we need the following information: account number / IBAN, name of bank, name of account holder
  • The form needs to stay in its original state, without deletions or corrections

How to modify a rental surety account

Step 01

Increasing the deposit amount

To increase the deposit, you only need to submit the form 鈥淪urety for lease鈥. Please add the new deposit amount including the increase.

Step 02

Reducing the deposit amount

For a reduction, it is sufficient to submit the form 鈥淪ecurity for the rental agreement鈥. Please complete the relevant section.

Step 03

Change of administration / ownership

To change the management or the owner, you can use the form 芦Surety for lease.

Step 04

Change of name or legal form

In the event of a change of name or legal form, official proof of the change of name or legal form is sufficient. Please send the documents with the details of the rental deposit account to the address below.

Natural person: If the deposit amount is less than CHF 20,000, a written order is sufficient. We also require proof of the change of name including the tenant's new signature (extract from family register or copy of ID).

Legal entity: Extract from the commercial register or an equivalent document

Step 05

Moving in or moving out of a tenant

  1. Please open a new 麻豆社聽rental deposit account via 鈥Open a rental deposit account鈥 with your new details.
  2. Please wait for the opening confirmation, which we will send you within 5 working days.
  3. Then submit the 鈥淚nstructions for repayment of rental surety鈥 (closing your old account). Please do not forget to note the account number of the new聽rental deposit account on it.

Step 06

Erroneous payment

In the case of an erroneous payment into an existing rental deposit account, the amount can be refunded by means of a written order. The order must be signed by the tenant and landlord/management and can only be refunded to the sender of the payment. The refund will only be made to the sender of the payment. Step 07

Procedure in the event of a tenant鈥檚 death (and/or connection)

In the case of a joint account, the rental deposit account can be continued under the previous account number in the name(s) of the remaining account holder(s). A death certificate or an equivalent document (medical certificate of death, official death notice) must be submitted.

In the case of an individual or collective account (and link), the rental deposit account must be balanced.
