Overview

The Fund aims to deliver returns broadly in line with the MSCI ACWI Factor Mix A-series Index. The portfolio manager aims to reduce the Fund's weighted average CO2 intensity (WACI) scope 1 and 2, by at least 30% compared to the specified index at each quarterly rebalance.

The strategy also aims to exclude companies (at issuer level) exposed to Fossil Fuels via revenue exposure to thermal coal mining (5% revenue threshold); or generation of energy based on thermal coal (5% revenue threshold); or Oil and Gas related activities (5% revenue threshold).

The fund provides access to a cost-efficient portfolio of global equity that aims to provide the return of the MSCI All Country World Factor Mix A-Series index while exhibiting a lower-than-benchmark carbon footprint. The proprietary investment strategy is aligned to forward-looking carbon intensity reduction targets with a focus on companies performing in line with the globally agreed climate change goals (beyond 2°C scnario temperature increase). The seasoned portfolio management team is complemented by the full breadth of 麻豆社's global resources in sustainable investing, independent risk management, operations and research.

Liquidity risk: securities may become more difficult to sell or sell at a desired price during difficult market conditions. Sustainability risk: an environmental, social or governance event or condition that, if it occurs, could cause an actual or a potential material negative impact on the value of the investment. If a sustainability risk associated with an investment materialises, it could lead to the loss in value of an investment.
