Investments: The fund invests in equity securities issued by companies from emerging markets listed in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The companies are weighted relative to their anticipated contribution to climate change.The objective is to overweight companies that contribute to the long-term transition to a long-carbon economy (and vice versa).
The portfolio’s carbon profile is aligned with a net-zero glide path (1.5 degrees) that aims to achieve net zero by 2050.
No investments in securities that are on the exclusion list of SVVK-ASIR (www.svvk-asir.ch) and in controversial weapons.
Currency exposure: in line with securities portfolio
Securities lending: not permitted
Use of derivatives: permitted under BVV2
The exchange rate risk between USD and CHF is not hedged.
